Railway Pictures Surrey
Photographs of railways and tramways in Great Britain and the Isle of Man, taken by members of the Railway Enthusiasts’ Club (the REC) between 1946 and 1968. Our archive consists of about 350,000 negatives.
We specialise in pictures of branch lines and of industrial and military railways and their locomotives. We started to sell our pictures in 1972 and have many customers who have been with us for 30 years or more. One of our lists is devoted to BR locomotives in number order. Other lists cover BR lines in the individual counties as they were in the 1950s.
Click here and open up the railway world as it was 60 years ago. We offer a friendly and efficient service.
